Internal Account Manager, at HSS ProService
As an Internal Account Manager, at HSS ProService you’ll play a key role in supporting customers throughout their journey. You’ll manage customer enquiries, process orders, and build strong relationships that help deliver an exceptional customer experience while driving commercial growth.
You’ll predominantly work remotely, but the role will require travel to Birmingham to work collaboratively with the team weekly.
You’ll work closely with operations teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure equipment and materials are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with customer expectations.
This is a fast-paced role where relationship building, organisation, and commercial awareness all come together. You’ll also help customers navigate our digital offering and identify opportunities to introduce additional products and services that add value.
A Typical Day
* Manage customer orders with accuracy and attention to detail to ensure successful outcomes
* Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers to deliver a seamless service experience
* Collaborate closely with operations teams to coordinate timely equipment and material deliveries
* Support customers throughout the ordering process and provide product recommendations where appropriateIdentify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products and services
* Help customers maximise the use of our digital channels and online marketplace
* Handle customer requests within agreed service levels and support with logistics queries
* Coordinate third-party carrier movements to ensure smooth delivery operations
* Prioritise preferred suppliers in line with commercial agreements and margin expectations
* Negotiate with suppliers where required to support cost optimisation
* Monitor and contribute towards key KPIs including margins, service delivery, and job completion rates

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
* Strong attention to detail and organisational capability
* Commercial awareness with the confidence to spot sales opportunities
* Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem solving
* Good IT skills and confidence using digital systems and platforms
* A driving licence would be beneficial
