We are looking for an Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Wolverhampton. This role will be working full time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm).
Cygnet Hospital Wolverhampton is a 29-bed hospital comprising of two wards that provide acute and PICU services for men in the West Midlands.
Cygnet Hospital Wolverhampton has a full multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and supports the acute needs of adults requiring rapid access to mental health services, including those who may need an intensive care environment. We're focused on length of stay and making sure individuals move as quickly and safely as possible from our services to the most appropriate and least restrictive environment for them.
Your Day-to-Day
* Contributing to assessments, scoring and reporting (verbal / written)
* Clinical formulation and implementing care plans for psychological treatment
* Planning, delivering and evaluating individual / group programmes
* Administration, audit, research and service development
We're looking for someone who is
* Degree qualified in Psychology (2:1 or above) or equivalent
* BPS (British Psychological Society) Accredited
* Preferably experienced in health care and/or in an Assistant Psychologist role
* Passionate about learning and working as part of an interdisciplinary team
* Qualified to Master's degree level or higher in Psychology (preferable)

Requirements
Contracted hours: 40 hours per week. Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
