Graduate Programme Overview
The STRABAG UK Graduate Programme is 15 months in duration and offers industry‑leading development. It is intense but hugely rewarding and on successful completion you will receive accreditations and qualifications from industry‑recognised bodies such as the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), Association for Project Management (APM), Institute of Sustainability & Environmental Professionals (ISEP), British Tunnelling Society (BTS), and the Institute of Leadership (IOL). You will also begin your journey with professional associations including the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES), and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of project final accounts.
* Assist in the preparation of internal or external reports.
* Cash management including WIP control and cash flow production.
* Draft subcontracts, including professional services.
* Identify insurance claims and understand policy coverage.
* Identify commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering and change control measures.
* Maintain complete site records.
* Measure quantities in accordance with standard methods of measurement as required.
* Support tender preparation processes.
* Support in the preparation of valuations/applications for payment.
* Use cost allocation/coding that satisfies both internal and external requirements.
* Utilise cost controlling systems and methods.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2:1 in Civil Engineering.
* No more than 12 months’ work experience.
* Good communication and teamwork skills with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project).
* Hard working with a positive can‑do attitude.
