Overview
Rhotic Media's 3-year Events Executive Apprenticeship blends hands-on event planning with a business management degree. You\'ll progress from supporting logistics and design to leading projects, gaining skills in marketing, budgeting, and strategy. This is ideal for a career in financial events.
Responsibilities
* Assist with event logistics, including venue research and supplier coordination
* Help manage guest communications, speaker tracking, and data entry
* Create basic graphic assets like social media cards or signage templates
* Prepare event materials and collateral for upcoming projects
* Plan, organise and manage resources to achieve organisational goals; identify key outcomes, develop and implement plans, monitor progress, and provide reports as required
* Proactively identify risk and create plans for their mitigation; initiate, lead and drive change; use widely recognised project management tools
* Managing budgets, controlling expenditure and production of financial reports
* Use of customer insight and analysis of data to determine and drive customer service outcomes and improve customer relationships; develop creative solutions to meet customer needs
* Identify service/organisational improvements and opportunities for innovation and growth using qualitative and quantitative analysis
* Communicate clearly and regularly using oral, written and digital channels; manage and chair meetings; present actions and outcomes; apply influencing and persuading skills
* Articulate organisational purpose and values; support the creation of an inclusive, high performance work culture; coach and mentor others
Placement Details
* On-the-job training at Rhotic Media\'s Chelmsford office, 4 days a week, gaining hands-on experience in event planning and marketing
* Academic training provided by Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) in Chelmsford; Level 6 Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship
* Weekly workplace learning blended with university sessions, typically one day per week dedicated to academic study (online or on campus)
* Blended learning format with online modules, in-person workshops, and workplace-based application
