ABC Teachers is working with an inclusive SEND school in South Birmingham, supporting pupils from primary through to secondary, to recruit a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant.
About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll play a key role in helping children and young people with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) — from moderate to more complex needs — reach their full potential.

Supporting students in and out of class to enhance learning.
Assisting with individual education plans and adapting materials.
Encouraging positive social, emotional and behavioural growth.
Working closely with teachers and staff to create a nurturing, inclusive environment.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is caring, enthusiastic and committed to making a real difference.
✅ Requirements:
A Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in Supporting Teaching and Learning would be ideal.
Experience in an educational setting, ideally with SEND or 1:1 support.
Knowledge or experience supporting pupils with autism and/or SEMH needs.
A valid DBS (or willingness to obtain one) and suitable references.
