About the RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Leather Technician to join a growing team manufacturing luxury interior for some of the world's most exclusive and ultra-premium automotive programmes.This role is ideal for someone with a passion for craftsmanship, attention to detail, and experience working with high-quality leather materials in an automotive environment.About the CompanyWe are a creative, technology-driven design, engineering, and manufacturing business delivering all aspects of design, engineering, testing, and manufacture from a single facility.Our integrated approach provides significant advantages to customers while offering a dynamic and varied working environment for employees.We support ultra-premium, low-volume automotive programmes within the luxury and high-performance vehicle sector, producing bespoke interiors and components for luxury cars and exclusive automotive projects.In addition, we support heritage and specialist vehicle programmes, including restoration, rebuilds, vehicle preparation, and event support for classic and performance vehicles.Roles and ResponsibilitiesThis role is based at our engineering facility in Witham.Key responsibilities include:Ensuring products meet design specifications, tolerances, and customer quality standardsMaintaining a flexible and adaptable approach to changing requirements and deadlinesDemonstrating a professional, proactive, and positive attitude at all timesPerforming rework or repairs on defective items where requiredLiaising with fellow technicians to achieve exceptional product finishesMaintaining high standards of craftsmanship and quality throughout productionSkills and Experience RequiredPrevious experience within a leather automotive or upholstery environment is desirableProficiency in leather handling and finishing techniquesStrong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanshipAbility to read and interpret patterns, drawings, and work instructionsGood time management skills with the ability to meet deadlinesUnderstanding of workplace health and safety practicesWorking HoursMonday to Friday8:00am - 4:30pmOvertimeOvertime may be available following successful completion of probation and depending on business requirements.BenefitsCompetitive salary, dependent on experience20 days holiday plus bank holidaysWorkplace pension schemeLife insuranceEmployee wellbeing support servicesFree on-site parkingIf you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website.TPBN1_UKTJ
