What You'll Be Doing:
* Leading SEN strategy across the secondary alternative provision
* Coordinating EHCPs, Annual Reviews, and high-needs funding applications
* Managing a skilled and passionate SEN team, including TAs and therapists
* Supporting personalised learning plans, behaviour strategies, and therapeutic interventions
* Working closely with families, LA professionals, and external agencies
* Driving whole-school inclusion, safeguarding, and wellbeing
* Contributing to SLT-level decision making (for Assistant Head option)
Ideal SENCO For this Bexley School:
* Holds the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO)
* A proven leader in SEN ideally in AP, SEMH or specialist settings
* An exceptional classroom practitioner with a passion for inclusive pedagogy
