Your new role
Your New Company is seeking an experienced and proactive Freelance Site Manager to oversee a 22-week office refurbishment project in Penrith. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established contractor known for delivering high-quality commercial refurbishments across the North West.
Key Responsibilities:
* Day-to-day site management and coordination of trades and subcontractors
* Ensuring health & safety compliance and site cleanliness
* Managing programme schedules and reporting progress to the project team
* Liaising with clients, consultants, and suppliers
* Maintaining quality control and ensuring works are completed to specification
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience managing commercial refurbishment projects
* SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certification
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to manage timelines, budgets, and site logistics
* Own transport and tools preferred
