We’re looking for a motivated and skilled Multiskilled Engineer to play a key role in delivering Hard FM services across our regional cluster. Reporting to the Hard FM Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for keeping systems running smoothly, supporting compliance, and ensuring a safe and efficient workplace for everyone.
This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll work with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to deliver planned and reactive maintenance and be an essential part of our service delivery.
What You’ll Do
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of equipment, including boilers, pumps, AHUs, BMS systems, distribution boards, lighting systems, and more.
* Work with subcontractors to complete statutory inspections and maintenance.
* Monitor and maintain compliance records using CAFM systems (, Maximo).
* Deliver remedial works to high standards and support small projects and upgrades.
* Provide real-time updates to the Digital Hub to keep workflow on track.
* Assist with emergency responses, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans.
* Work in line with Sodexo’s Zero Harm safety commitment, ensuring safe systems of work at all times.
* Participate in on-call rotas and occasional weekend/out-of-hours work when needed.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* HND/NVQ (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services.
* At least 5 years’ experience in electrical or mechanical building services.
* IOSH Passport or CSCS Card.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
* Good IT skills (Microsoft Office & CAFM/CMMS systems).
* Full, clean UK driving licence.
Desirable:
* Previous experience with Maximo or EZMax.
* Property maintenance skills.
* AP/CP appointments (Electrical, Boilers/Pressure systems, Confined Spaces, Working at Heights).
* Knowledge of CDM Regulations.
