Job Title: Corporate Financier (Graduate) Department: Investment Banking Location: London We offer unique opportunities to early career professionals, including Internships and Graduate positions. We are now looking for Graduates in our London office across various sector and product teams. Graduate positions will commence August 2026. Tasks and Responsibilities Tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to: • Financial Modelling: Build and maintain detailed financial models to support transaction evaluation and client advisory • Valuation Analysis: Conduct comprehensive valuation analyses (e.g., DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions) to assess companies and projects • Transaction Support: Assist senior team members in the end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, from origination to closing. • Due Diligence: Participate in due diligence processes, assessing target companies' financials, systems, and potential risks. • Process Coordination: Help coordinate sell-side and buy-side M&A processes, including managing data rooms and client requests. • Presentation Materials: Prepare marketing pitchbooks, investment memorandums, and other client presentations • Market Intelligence: Monitor the competitive landscape, track market developments, and identify potential M&A targets or investment opportunities. • Internal processes: Work with Compliance colleagues to ensure adequate client and transaction take on procedures are followed (including drafting of take-on papers for internal approval committees) • Database Management: Maintain internal databases (IPOs, M&A etc) Candidate Profile • Have already, or are graduating summer 2026 • 2:1 or above achieved at degree level • High level of numeracy and financially literate • Open to graduates from all backgrounds, regardless of area of study or degree focus • Show emotional intelligence and awareness • Strong MS Office skills • Confident presenter • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrable interest in Finance Stifel Europe is a leading sector-driven and advisory-led, full-service investment bank dedicated to European mid-market companies and their investors.
