Job Description
The Insurance division is in the early stages of its journey, but already a core part of our business. Following the acquisition of the Burley Group in 2019 and subsequent integrations, we have celebrated the merge of Burley Group now becoming Radius Insurance Solutions and the full transition onto our combined broking system.
Typical Work Responsibilities
* Ensure rigid controls around posting and reconciliation of Client monies.
* Daily and monthly financed funds reconciliation and accurate posting to insurer system.
* Ensure the receipt and collation of insurer statements as per your allocated accounts to the outlined deadlines.
* Ensure rigid controls around insurer account reconciliations.
* Each account must be reconciled within the timeframe outlined in the TOBA.
* Accurately identify the amounts payable to insurers and communicate differences.
* Create and sustain excellent communication to resolve any disputes of payment.
* Accurate production of payment reports sent for authorisation and payment to insurers.
* Ensure accurate posting of insurer receipts in the client account to the insurer system.
* Daily and weekly reconciliations of regulated client money accounts for management review.
* Manage the generic client accounts email inbox effectively, along with the team.
* Adhere to internal controls to maintain the correct level of authorisation, sign‑off and documentation.
Qualifications
* Customer service/support experience and good with numbers.
* Experience dealing with high volume with attention to detail.
* Experience in resolving client queries.
* Ability to communicate and represent the business to external parties.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience fostering strong working relationships across the organisation and with external suppliers/insurers.
* Experience working within an accounts environment would be desirable.
