Electrician - BESS Site
We are currently recruiting experienced Project Site Electricians to work on a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast‑growing sector within the renewable energy industry, supporting electrical installation works on a high‑profile infrastructure site.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical installation works across the BESS project site
* Install, terminate, and test electrical systems and equipment
* Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
* Support commissioning and energisation activities where required
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures and industry standards
* Maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance with health & safety regulations
* Work collaboratively with site management and other trades on site
Essential Requirements
* Relevant Electrical Trade Qualifications
* Proven experience working as a site electrician within industrial, construction, or energy environments
* Strong understanding of site health & safety procedures
* Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Desirable Experience
* Previous experience working on BESS sites or similar HV / renewable energy projects
* Experience within substations, energy infrastructure, or industrial installations
* ECS / JIB accreditation advantageous
Working Hours & Rates
* 45 hours per week
* 32 per hour
* Umbrella / CIS payment
* Inside IR35
