Teaching Assistant – The Role
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons across Key Stage 1.
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils to help them reach their full potential.
Assist in preparing learning materials and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Support pupils with early literacy, numeracy, and social development.
Contribute to behaviour management and classroom organisation.

Teaching Assistant – Key Requirements
Previous experience working with children in a primary school (KS1 preferred).
A positive, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Understanding of how to support early learning, including phonics and numeracy.
Relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant) is desirable but not essential.
