Teacher of Dance/Acting (Full time or Part time)

Overview
Horndean Technology College seeks teachers to deliver the Dance and Drama/Acting curriculum at Key Stage 3 and 4, including Edexcel BTEC courses. The role combines classroom instruction with extra‑curricular activities such as clubs, productions and Dance Live participation.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, teach and assess Dance and Drama/Acting lessons at KS3 and KS4.
* Support student learning in Edexcel BTEC Dance and BTEC Acting programmes.
* Collaborate with the Subject Leader and team on curriculum development, assessment and teaching practice.
* Coordinate extra‑curricular activities, including drama clubs, Dance Live entry, and musical productions.
* Assist with set‑up and support for performances, including lighting, video and stage management.
Qualifications and Experience
* Strong interest in Dance and Acting with a passion for engaging students.
* Experience teaching dance or drama at KS3/K4 and familiarity with BTEC standards.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a vibrant, creative team.
* Experience or willingness to mentor Early‑Career Teachers (ECT) is desirable.
