We are currently looking for an Interim Street Cleaning Senior Advisor to join a London Borough as soon as possible for a 6 month period.
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Street Cleaning Senior Advisor to lead and stabilise its street cleansing service during a period of transition and cultural change.
This is a key role, supporting day-to-day operations and BAU activity, while also coaching and mentoring a relatively newish team to embed best practices and drive performance.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing operational leadership and support across the service
* Coaching and mentoring team members to embed structure and accountability
* Managing budgets
* Liaising with councillors and senior stakeholders
* Maintaining service stability and continuity during a period of change
Requirements:
* Proven experience in street cleansing or similar operational environments
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Ability to work on-site at the depot twice a week for a 6am start
