We’re looking for an experienced and dependable Behaviour Manager to join our thriving secondary school community. In this pivotal role, you’ll help create a respectful, supportive environment where every student can succeed. This is for a January 2026 start date.
About the Role
As Behaviour Manager, you’ll lead on promoting high standards of behaviour across the school. Working closely with teachers, senior leaders, and families, you’ll support students in making positive choices, managing challenging situations, and removing barriers to learning.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Designing and implementing effective behaviour management strategies
* Responding to incidents and providing real-time support to students
* Collaborating with Heads of Year and safeguarding teams
* Maintaining accurate records and analysing behaviour trends
* Building strong relationships to support students’ social and emotional development

You’ll bring:
* Proven experience in a behaviour or pastoral support role, ideally within a secondary school
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to de-escalate situations calmly
* Resilience, empathy, and emotional intelligence
* A firm but fair approach, with confidence to challenge and support students
* A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
