Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger professional looking for a new challenge in a busy, supportive finance team? Our client, a well-established and growing business based in Melton, is seeking a skilled Senior Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join their finance department on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
* Managing and maintaining purchase ledger accounts
* Processing high volumes of supplier invoices and credit notes
* Performing regular supplier statement reconciliations
* Resolving invoice queries and discrepancies efficiently
* Preparing payment runs and ensuring timely supplier payments
* Overseeing and checking work across the team ensuring accuracy
* Supporting month-end processes and assisting with audit requirements
About You
We\'re looking for someone who brings extensive purchase ledger experience and a proactive, detail-oriented approach. You\'ll take ownership of your workload and be confident in maintaining accuracy and efficiency within the team.
Key skills & experience
* Proven experience within a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
* Strong understanding of invoice processing and reconciliations
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Confident communicator with good problem-solving skills
* Team player with the ability to work independently
* AAT Level 2 qualification is desireable but not essential if you have relevant experience
