The Role We are seeking an experienced Head of Projects to lead our Principal Delivery function and oversee a portfolio of projects from mobilisation through to completion. You will be responsible for leading project teams, driving commercial performance, ensuring safe and successful delivery, and growing our project pipeline through strong customer relationships. This is a senior leadership role for someone who can balance strategy, operational delivery, people leadership, and commercial accountability.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Delivery
Lead a portfolio of projects to ensure safe, on‑time, on‑budget delivery
Manage and develop Project Managers and delivery teams.
Drive consistent project standards, governance, and best practice.
Support major or challenged projects as senior escalation lead.
Commercial Performance
Own portfolio P&L, revenue, margin, and cash performance.
Approve bids, pricing, and tender submissions.
Improve profitability through effective forecasting, cost control, and change management.
Client & Growth
Build strong client relationships and act as senior point of contact.
Identify new opportunities within existing accounts.
Support business development and strategic growth plans.
Supply Chain & Compliance
Oversee procurement, subcontractor performance, and delivery partners.
Ensure compliance with HSE, CDM, and company governance standards.
Promote a strong safety‑first culture.
Skills And Experience
Experience in construction, fit‑out, M&E, FM, infrastructure, or capital projects
Proven experience leading multiple projects or a project portfolio.
Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
Track record of building and leading high‑performing teams.
Excellent stakeholder and client management skills.
