Job Title: Waking Night Carer
Hours: 10:00pm – 7:00am (Night Shifts)
Reports to: Registered Manager / Care Coordinator
Location: Client's own home

Ramm Care Group have an exciting opportunity for a Waking Nights Support Worker to join our team based in Bath.
This will be 4 nights per week and will include alternating weekends.
You would be working alongside the NHS Rapid Response Team in case of Emergency.
Job Purpose
To provide safe and person-centred overnight support to the client, ensuring their comfort, safety, and wellbeing. The role focuses on supporting the client with toileting needs, monitoring throughout the night to reduce the risk of falls, and providing reassurance as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Remain awake and alert throughout the night to provide continuous support.
* Assist the client with toileting, ensuring dignity and privacy at all times.
* Monitor mobility and provide safe support to reduce the risk of falls.
* Undertake regular checks as required to ensure the client's safety and wellbeing.
* Respond promptly to any calls for assistance during the night.
* Provide reassurance, comfort, and emotional support as needed.
* Record and report any concerns, incidents, or changes in the client's condition to the appropriate person (Registered Manager / Care Coordinator).
* Follow the client's care plan and risk assessments at all times.
* Maintain professional boundaries and uphold confidentiality.
* Adhere to company policies, health & safety regulations, and safeguarding procedures.
Skills & Qualities Required
* Previous experience in care, preferably in a night care role.
* Understanding of supporting clients with mobility and toileting needs.
* Ability to stay alert and responsive throughout the night.
* Patient, compassionate, and respectful approach.
* Good communication and record-keeping skills.
* Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
* Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety in a care setting.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
