About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Food Technology Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Blackpool from January 2026. This is a temporary position until Easter, ideal for an inspiring educator who is passionate about delivering high-quality lessons and helping students develop practical life skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
* Ensure high standards of health and safety in the food technology classroom
* Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate
About You
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology
* Ability to inspire, motivate, and support students of varying abilities
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
