The Role – SENCO
A welcoming SEN school in Islington is seeking a skilled and motivated SENCO to join their leadership team in January. The successful SENCO will oversee the day-to-day operation of SEN provision, ensuring high-quality teaching, effective interventions, and personalised learning plans for all students with additional needs. As SENCO, you’ll work closely with teachers, support staff, external agencies, and families to provide a coordinated approach to student support. You’ll also play a key role in staff training, EHCP management, and data tracking to ensure progress and compliance with the SEND Code of Practice. This SENCO role would suit an experienced teacher or leader who holds the National Award for SEN Coordination (or is working towards it) and thrives in a collaborative, student-centred environment.
