About you
* Hold a full and relevant level 2/3 Early Years Qualification
* Have a good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding duties, nursery procedures and policies
* Have good knowledge of birth to 5 development and the EYFS curriculum
* Excellent practice within an early years setting
* Have excellent organisational and time management skills
* Have a passion for outdoor learning and delivering enriching learning opportunities for children
* Demonstrate an up-to-date knowledge in Early Years and have full understanding of children’s emotional, physical, psychological and educational developmental needs
* A positive attitude with an unwavering commitment to service excellence to allow us to maintain our high standards
* Be able to work as a team
* Have a professional attitude and manner
What you’ll be doing
* Supervising children within the nursery environment, including mealtimes, rest periods and nappy changing/toileting
* Creating fun and engaging activities to suit the needs of the children
* Promote good hygiene practices
* Building solid, caring relationships with parents/carers, families, professionals, and your team
* Keeping accurate records and communicating with parents/carers
* Supporting your team members and being a positive role model, who looks to develop and suggest positive changes
* Leading the room in the absence of the room leader
* Attend staff meetings or any training courses that will help enhance your personal and professional development
* Monitor and record all accidents
* Adhering to and implement all nursery procedures and policies
* Contributing new ideas to continue to develop our practice

Typical working schedule can be: Monday-Friday, 7.30am-6pm
