Package Description:
Shift details: 07:00 - 19:30 or 19:30 - 07:00. This position is to work on the Memory Care floor.
As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will deliver high standards of personal care and contribute fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services. Key duties include assisting residents with personal hygiene, recognizing and escalating clinical risks, and treating residents and visitors with courtesy while respecting dignity and individuality.
Responsibilities
* Assisting residents in all personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect at all times.
* Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents (e.g., weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infection) and escalating identified risks promptly.
* Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
* Practicing safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
