Business/Economics Teacher Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full or part time (the school would consider 3 or 4 days) Business and Economics Teacher to work at an exceptional private school on the outskirts of York. This position is to start the 12 th of January, and will last until June 30 th in the first instance, but there is the potential for this role to go permanent if the candidate enjoys the placement and performs well. With regards to payment, payment will be between £2,916 and £51,047 per year depending on experience and qualifications. Working hours for this school are 8:30 - 4:30. There is one mandatory training until around 6:30PM one day per week. The School is located approximately 10 miles from York, and is also commutable from areas of North Yorkshire and Harrogate. Due to the rural location, this school is most easily accessible via car, with limited public transport options available. You will be working with a strong department who values teaching academic subjects and has lots of willing students eager to learn. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons either Business Studies, Economics or Both to Key Stage 4 and 5 students. There is already strong planning in place, so the successful candidate would be using their expertise to amend existing lessons and make them even more exciting and engaging for successful candidates. Candidates with a PGCE in FE (Lifelong Learning) are encouraged to apply for this role. ECTs are invited to apply for this role, and there is the opportunity to complete 2 terms of your ECT in this position, with a fully engaged ECT mentor. Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College. You will be put onto all of the same CPD as permanent staff members, and encouraged to grow.
