We're working with a leading law firm who are seeking an experienced Administrator / Secretary to join their busy Commercial Real Estate Team in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational and communication skills looking to develop their career within a professional and supportive environment.
The successful candidate will support fee earners with all aspects of administration, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the team. Ideally, you'll be office-based four days a week, with some flexibility available.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and formatting correspondence, documents, and completion statements
* Managing diaries, emails, and client communications
* Submitting Land Registry and SDLT applications
* Assisting with billing and basic finance tasks
* Handling incoming calls and enquiries
* Providing general administrative and secretarial support
Experience / Skills Required
* Minimum 1 year's experience as an Administrator or Secretary (legal or professional services environment preferred)
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Confident communicator with strong attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using IT systems
* Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
* Experience within property or real estate
* Knowledge of HMLR and SDLT processes
