As Finance Lead, Corporate Finance and Governance, you will be part of the Finance Senior Management Team responsible for delivering all aspects of a dynamic and efficient Finance Department, supporting the planning and management of the Force’s strategic financial plans. It’ll be a fast-paced role, where your team will be primarily responsible for the preparation of the annual statements of account for the Police and Crime Commissioner and Chief Constable, treasury management services and the annual medium term financial planning process.
The force has recently developed a more agile and smarter approach to service delivery, recognising there are a number of roles that can be performed effectively in the home environment, enabling greater productivity and improved work-life balance. This role has been assigned an ‘agile’ persona which means that you will be able to work flexibly at a force location or at home.
The assigned ‘team zone’ location for the role is Forth Banks Police Station, Newcastle City Centre. Frequency of attendance at the force location will be determined subject to business needs and in agreement with line management.
