Service Desk Engineer 3-Month Contract (ASAP Start)
Were looking for an experienced Service Desk Engineer to join our client on an ASAP-start, 3-month contract. Youll provide high-quality technical support to end users, resolving incidents quickly and delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1st & 2nd line support across hardware, software, and network issues
* Log, prioritise, and resolve tickets via the service desk system
* Troubleshoot Windows/macOS, Office 365, VPN, printers, and general desktop problems
* Set up and configure laptops/PCs, user accounts, and applications
* Escalate complex issues to senior engineers where needed
* Deliver clear communication and support to non-technical users
* Assist with onboarding, device builds, and asset management tasks
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a Service Desk / IT Support role
* Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows 10/11, O365, Active Directory/Azure AD
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and hit the ground running
* Experience with common ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice)
