TPF Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a highly reputable, forward thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in Maidstone, who are looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established practice with a strong regional presence, offering a great mix of audit and accounts work, exposure to a varied client base, and genuine progression prospects.
The Role
As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will take on a varied and hands on role, working across both audit and accounts assignments. You will manage your own portfolio while supporting managers and partners on larger engagements.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading audits from planning through to completion
* Preparing statutory accounts for a wide range of clients
* Working with owner managed businesses, SMEs, and larger corporates
* Supervising and mentoring junior staff
* Acting as a key point of contact for clients
* Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP (FRS 102) and relevant regulations
Requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified, or nearing qualification
* Strong experience in a mixed audit and accounts role within practice
* Good technical knowledge and a proactive approach
* Confident communicator with strong client facing skills
* Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
