A vibrant and inclusive Primary school in Walthamstow is seeking a passionate and energetic PE Coach / PE Teacher to join their team from January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about children’s physical development and enjoys delivering fun, engaging PE sessions in a primary setting.

About the role:
As a Primary PE Coach/Teacher, you will:
* Deliver high-quality PE lessons to pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
* Plan fun, skill-based sessions tailored to primary-aged learners.
* Promote physical literacy, teamwork, and personal fitness.
* Support pupils’ social and emotional development through sport and physical activity.
* Lead lunchtime and after-school sports clubs.
* Organise and support school sports events, competitions, and activity days.
* Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all pupils.

Person specification:
* Experience working with primary-aged children in a school or sports coaching environment.
* Relevant qualifications such as:
o Level 2/3 Sports Coaching Qualification, or
o Degree in Sports Coaching / Sports Science, or
o QTS specialising in PE (desirable but not essential).
* Strong understanding of primary physical development and age-appropriate sports skills.
* Positive, motivating, and proactive approach to teaching physical education.
* Ability to manage groups of children effectively and promote positive behaviour.
* A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
