Engagement and Events Support role at Red Kite Community Housing
The role involves coordinating and facilitating a range of tenant engagement activities to strengthen community involvement and communication. This includes supporting tenant panels through administrative tasks and note-taking, organising outreach initiatives within local communities, and arranging all aspects of Resident Representative Team meetings such as room bookings, online links, catering and transport. The position also requires booking and managing training sessions for volunteers and tenants, maintaining and updating website sections that highlight tenant engagement and its outcomes, and capturing and recording data to monitor progress against annual action plan targets. Additionally, the role contributes to the delivery of engagement events, including multi-agency and training sessions.
General administrative support is also a key part of the role, encompassing tasks such as arranging taxis, writing newsletter and website content, taking minutes, and producing documents like letters, spreadsheets, and mail merges. The postholder will input data into TP Tracker and maintain membership databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date records. They will also play an active role in supporting key community events, including the annual community morning, volunteer thank-you event, and regular tenant coffee mornings, helping to foster strong and positive relationships between tenants and the organisation.
