Role Objective
Responsible for coordinating plant, tools, and machinery for production teams across multiple construction sites. The role ensures professional, timely, and cost-effective handling of queries and orders, following best practices to support operational efficiency.
Core Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage all plant requirements across the assigned region, working closely with Site Managers and Contracts Managers to ensure site productivity.
* Schedule and manage weekly deliveries of gas oil and diesel for plant and machinery across regional sites.
* Liaise with fuel suppliers to negotiate competitive rates and ensure high service levels.
* Organise and oversee the distribution of miscellaneous items across regional sites, including coordination with external suppliers.
* Manage all site mixer requirements under the plant department, ensuring compliance with internal processes and taking necessary action where needed.
* Perform general administrative and office duties in support of the Plant department.
Responsibilities For:
* No direct line management responsibility.
* Indirect responsibility for plant equipment coordination and systems support.
Person Specification Knowledge
* Knowledge of GDPR compliance.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
* Experience delivering high-quality customer service using product knowledge to meet operational needs.
