We are expanding our Environment and Water portfolio and are seeking Quantity Surveyors to collaborate with clients on complex projects that deliver on time, within budget, and with a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities
* Support Water Companies in delivering large capital programmes, ensuring essential services and environmental improvements.
* Provide commercial support to large projects or programmes of works.
* Support and advise the Project Manager on contractual obligations.
* On behalf of the Project Manager, monitor and process commercial queries from Consultants and Contractors.
* Attend progress meetings to respond to commercial matters raised.
* Assess payment applications and support the payment process, clarifying any queries with relevant Consultants and/or Contractors.
* Conduct periodic commercial checks and due diligence in partnership with the Project Manager to verify submitted information against records held by Consultants or Contractors.
* Collaborate with the Project Manager to assess ongoing estimates of Consultants and Contractors to completion.
* Receive and review final accounts from Consultants and Contractors, negotiate amendments, and recommend acceptance or rejection.
* Prepare estimates and cost plans to support project development and budgetary governance.
* Prepare standard documentation – reports, valuations, letters, financial statements, and related materials.
Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
* Experience with NEC Contracts and other target‑cost or cost‑reimbursable contracts.
* Proven skills and experience delivering within a cost consultancy or main contractor environment.
* Developed contract‑management skills.
* Experience on large‑scale infrastructure projects.
* Pre‑contract and post‑contract experience.
* Experience working in collaborative teams.
* Willingness to travel to client sites, with potential overnight stays.

Work spans the entire project lifecycle – from pre‑contract cost estimating and benchmarking to post‑contract quantity surveying and commercial assurance.
For project and programme management, we deliver capital projects for clients ranging from a few hundred thousand pounds to programmes over £0.5 bn.
