Hours: 4 days and sleep nights on, 6 days off (365 rota)
Pay rate: £41,751 to £46,197 per annum, including opportunities to pick up overtime at an enhanced rate
What we are looking for:
Bly House is a two-bed, Ofsted registered children's home providing immediate intervention and trauma-informed therapeutic support. Over a 12-week placement, our young people are given security, support, and stabilisation in a nurturing and peaceful environment. Every placement provides PACE principle residential care, access to education, and participation in outdoor/adventure activities.
If you are an experienced, qualified children's residential care worker eager to expand your skills and knowledge, we would love to hear from you!
* A minimum of 12 months experience in a children's residential care home
* A level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (or be close to completion)
* A full UK driving licence
* A keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities
* Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
* In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practices
* Training and experience in de-escalation, safe restraint, and physical intervention (such as Team Teach, MAPA, etc.)
* Values aligned with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
* Applicants must be aged 21 or above due to industry regulations
