A materials handler carries out goods movements from point of entry into the factory, around the factory including to and from stores, machine shop and production lines and loads onto vehicles to enable transportation to end customer, in accordance with company Health & Safety and quality procedures and in line with the companys values and behaviours.
Main Duties:
Load and unload vehicles in accordance with company procedure
Load preparation and checking
Pick kits or parts according to work order or pick list
Issue parts to machine shop and production in line with the Plan
Put product away in relevant stores or warehouse location
Pack parts in accordance with packing instructions, including subcontract
