Overview
We are looking to recruit a proactive, hands-on Front of House Manager to lead our clubhouse team.
This role is perfect for a current Bar and Catering Manager or Team Leader wishing to further their career in the Hospitality industry.
The Front of House Manager will ensure the efficient day-to-day running of clubhouse services, with the role being critical in maintaining a welcoming, first-class experience in the clubhouse for both our existing members and visitors. They must engage with all club employees, members, and visitors to ensure that consistently high levels of service are always maintained and our reputation within the wider community is of the highest order.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Set service standards in the clubhouse, delivering a friendly, courteous, and proactive bar and catering services to all club members and guests
* Proactively liaise with event organisers to determine finer details for events(final numbers, Menu, dietary requirements etc.)
* Work closely with the Head Chef and Events Manager in relation to all club, golf society or corporate functions, to ensure delivery of exceptional service and food
* Manage the clubhouse food and beverage staff, including staffing levels, training, performance.
* Organise staff rotas to ensure suitable staff cover is present at all times
* Manage the cellar and maintain bar stocks, purchasing stocks at competitive prices, consistent with good value and timely delivery
* Ensure that Health and Safety at Work policies and procedures are followed in the Clubhouse
* Maintain the clubhouse, patio, storage areas and immediate surroundings in a clean and tidy condition throughout the day
* Manage suppliers to optimise profitability and keep correct stock levels
Experience
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
* Experience in a supervisory role within a bar or hospitality industry.
* Ability to train, motivate, and schedule staff effectively
* Excellent Customer Service Experience
* Experience managing bar stock levels and ordering supplies.
* Experience with till systems, cashing up, and reconciling daily takings
* Knowledge of cellar operations, including line cleaning and stock rotation.
* Ability to deliver excellent customer service
