Personal Advisor
Location: Dudley - Hybrid working with community visits
Contract: Temporary until March 2026
Rate: £20 (Umbrella)
We seek a dedicated and self-motivated Personal Advisor to join a service supporting young people who may be vulnerable due to challenging early life experiences. This role calls for someone who is passionate about helping individuals build brighter futures, offering both guidance and practical support.
The Role
You shall work closely with young people, helping them to navigate obstacles, build confidence, and progress towards their personal aspirations. A key aspect of the position is supporting them to develop vital life and independence skills, enabling them to thrive within their local communities.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing tailored advice, encouragement, and ongoing support
* Helping young people develop independence and life-management skills
* Supporting individuals to engage with education, employment, and training opportunities
* Conducting visits as required to ensure effective support and safeguarding
* Maintaining accurate records and working collaboratively with partner services
About You
* Experience working with vulnerable young people is essential
* Compassionate, resilient, and able to build trusting relationships
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
* Fully compliant with an enhanced DBS and references
