We are seeking an experienced Environmental Clerk of Works (EnvCoW) to support a major infrastructure project during the construction phase.
This role has two key elements:
* Acting as an independent EnvCoW to monitor and report on environmental compliance
* Acting as the clients environmental representative on site, overseeing inspections, audits, and contractor compliance
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring all environmental commitments, planning conditions, and regulatory requirements are fully adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Independent EnvCoW Duties
1. Monitor compliance with environmental commitments and planning conditions
2. Produce monthly reports summarising site activities and compliance
3. Report any environmental non-compliances within required timeframes
4. Undertake pre-construction ecological surveys and ongoing monitoring
