WW Demand Planning Manager, Amazon Shipping

Amazon Operations is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Demand Planning Manager to join our expanding team. The Demand Planning Manager will own the medium-long term demand plans for our US business and be responsible for refreshing our demand plans, engaging with relevant stakeholders including sales/marketing/operations/network planning/finance and achieving leadership sign-off. We therefore require someone with both excellent quantitative skills as well as the ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders.

This role will be a key member of the WW Business Operations Team. The team is responsible for driving strategic decision making and process optimization across the UK and international marketplaces through three pillars: i) Demand Planning, ii) Sales Operations, iii) Business Analytics.


Key job responsibilities

1. Support Amazon Operation's medium and long-term strategic planning discussions (6 months to 5-year time horizon)
2. Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance and Network Planning teams to establish a consolidated demand plan in-line with our business planning cycles.
3. Reviewing deviations vs forecast to identify areas where our methodology could be revised/improved.
4. Advising on the demand impact of new initiatives/products
5. Supporting the business case for expansion into new areas where we have minimal historical data.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
* Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
