Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly management reporting including calculation of the Banks P&L and Balance sheet performance ratios, performance metrics on exposures to our key deposit holders, and intercompany balances.
* Produce daily financial reports to assist the Banks management team on items such as trade loans, off balance sheet commitments, FX positions and exposures to large counterparties
* Manage the Banks accruals and prepayments processes ensuring the rationale for transactions is justifiable
* Improve and run the production processes of the Banks balance sheet reconciliations.
* Produce the valuation of the Banks portfolio of investment securities
* Manage the Banks fixed asset and intangibles registers
* Oversee the expense processes for the Banks Dubai and Lagos branches
* Support the Banks tax management processes
* Assist the Financial Accountant with adhoc analysis to support the financial management of the Bank
Qualifications & Experience
* Part-qualified accountant studying towards completion of a recognised accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA; 2-3 years in area of specialism
* 3-4 years of general work experience
* Experience of banking and lending businesses is beneficial but not essential
