Location: Primarily home-based, with travel across the UK (particularly across South Wales) to meet with clients.
Hours: Full-time or Part-time. We're flexible and will make it work for the right person.
About Us:
Healthy HR exists for one simple reason: to help businesses build better workplaces. We're a close-knit team of HR professionals who believe that effective people support should be practical, people-centric and make a tangible difference.
What makes us different? Our approach is genuinely collaborative. We take the time to understand our clients' world, focusing on practical solutions that fit their culture and drive real results. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an approachable and proactive HR Business Partner to join our team. If you’re the kind of person who loves helping people solve problems, enjoys variety and wants to grow your HR career in a supportive environment, you’ll fit right in.
The Role:
This is a hands-on HR Business Partner role where you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing clear and practical HR advice on day-to-day people matters. You will work closely with our People Strategy Partner and wider team to deliver projects, training and advice that make a real difference to our clients’ people and culture.
Your role will blend reactive advice with proactive support, helping managers handle challenges confidently, spotting opportunities for improvement and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
You will also have the opportunity to develop your consultancy skills, learning how to scope, plan and deliver client work while managing relationships and contributing to larger strategic projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Providing day to day advice: You will be the go to contact for clients, offering practical guidance on policies, performance, wellbeing and employee relations.
* Supporting employee relations: You will help manage ER cases such as absence, investigations, disciplinaries and informal performance matters with fairness, empathy and professionalism.
* Delivering HR foundations: You will support clients in maintaining up to date, legally sound HR documentation, policies and processes that reflect their culture and values.
* Championing wellbeing: You will help clients put wellbeing on the agenda through meaningful initiatives that promote healthier, happier workplaces.
* Assisting with projects: You will contribute to client projects such as onboarding improvements, engagement initiatives, HR compliance reviews and performance management development.
* Delivering training: You will support the design and delivery of engaging HR and management training sessions that build capability and confidence in our clients’ teams.
* Collaborating with senior colleagues: You will work closely with the People Strategy Partner on more complex projects and people strategies, gaining valuable exposure to strategic consultancy work.
* Building trusted relationships: You will take time to understand our clients’ cultures and challenges, ensuring they feel supported, informed and confident in every interaction.
* Embracing technology and automation: You will use digital tools, automation and AI to enhance efficiency, accuracy and insight, helping us deliver high quality and modern consultancy support.
* Contributing to our growth: As part of a small but ambitious team, you will bring initiative, ownership and a can do attitude. You will thrive in an environment where everyone contributes, learns and takes pride in getting things done.
About You:
You are a practical and people focused HR professional who takes pride in helping others and seeing things through. You care deeply about getting the details right and delivering work you can be proud of. You are organised, approachable and comfortable managing multiple priorities with a calm, solutions focused approach.
You have solid HR experience and are ready for a role that gives you more ownership, variety and client facing responsibility. You are confident providing day to day advice, handling sensitive matters with care and supporting projects that make a difference.
You like to get things done and can work at pace while staying composed and emotionally intelligent. You are open to learning, value feedback and use it to continuously evolve and improve.
You enjoy learning from senior colleagues, but you are also motivated to grow your own expertise and take the initiative to make things happen. You are tech savvy, open to new ideas and understand that great communication makes every interaction count.
Above all, you care about people, creating workplaces where they can thrive while keeping things practical, compliant and commercially sound.
