Offer description

We're currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our team, delivering planned maintenance works across social housing contracts in Cambridge and the surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of schemes and lead on the delivery of high‑quality housing improvements within a well‑established and growing team.


Responsibilities

* Manage day‑to‑day site operations across planned maintenance schemes
* Programme and coordinate works to ensure timely and efficient delivery
* Supervise operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers on site
* Ensure all works are completed in line with Health & Safety regulations
* Maintain quality control and ensure works meet required standards
* Attend pre‑ and post‑inspections, providing technical input where required
* Produce site progress reports and maintain accurate records
* Support successful project completion and handover

Essential Qualifications

* Proven experience as a Site Manager within social housing planned maintenance
* SMSTS qualification
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and site management processes
* Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities


Desirable Qualifications

* Experience across internal and external planned works (e.g. kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, FRA, decarbonisation)
* Strong IT and reporting skills
* Excellent communication and leadership ability
