Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Salary: BG5, N4-5, £25,185.00 - £25,583.00 (Actual £19,347 - £19,652). Contract: Term time only plus insets, Permanent.
Henbury Court Primary Academy is looking to appoint an organised and efficient Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our nursery class. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a school setting, but this is not essential as we are willing to invest and grow the right applicant into the role. Henbury Court is proudly part of Trust in Learning Academics who are in the process of merging with Cathedral Schools Trust. Responsibilities
* Lead by example and develop opportunities to engage and support our children and families.
* Organise and manage the interventions they lead.
* Maintain excellent communication and work well as part of the team.
* Operate in line with school policies at all times and raise any health & safety, safeguarding or other concerns to a senior member of staff in line with policy guidelines.
* Demonstrate strong, interactive teaching and a positive track record of impact.
* Be open to progression within Trust in Learning, based initially at Henbury Court.
* Motivate learners and bring passion to ignite learning and drive outcomes.
* Build positive relationships with staff, families and the children.
* Show evidence of excellence from placements or previous posts.
* Be willing to go above and beyond to close gaps and remove barriers for children and families.
* Commit to personal development and maintain enthusiasm to be successful.
Qualifications & Requirements
* GCSE Grade C or higher in English & Maths.
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant field.
* Evidence of working within an EYFS setting.
* Evidence of paediatric first aid training.
* Evidence of working with vulnerable learners and making a difference to pupil outcomes.
* Able to work well under pressure and thrive as part of a team.
* Ability to maintain a high work rate and juggle a range of tasks and priorities.
