We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Electrical Supervisor to join a long-term contract delivering maintenance and compliance services across multiple government sites.This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled electrical professional with strong supervisory experience to work on a mobile basis, supporting critical infrastructure and ensuring high standards of delivery.Key Job Details
* Rate: £400 - £450 per day (Umbrella)
* Contract Length: 6 months initial (ongoing potential)
* Start Date: Immediate
* Location: Mobile (MOJ & Home Office sites) - Cambridge or Kent
* Working Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Senior Electrical Supervisor Responsibilities
* Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works
* Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and repairs on electrical systems and plant
* Supervise and support electrical teams across multiple sites
* Install and commission electrical plant and equipment
* Ensure all works meet industry standards and compliance requirements
* Maintain asset records and provide condition updates
* Liaise with engineering teams to ensure efficient service delivery
* Identify additional works and prepare cost estimates
Compliance & Supervisory Duties
* Perform quality audits (QS duties) on both in-house and subcontractor works
* Ensure all electrical installations comply with current regulations
Key RequirementsTo be considered for this Senior Electrical Supervisor role, you must have:
* ECS Gold Card (Essential)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
* AM1 & AM2 qualifications
* 2391 Test & Inspection certification
* 5-10+ years' electrical experience
Desirable Qualifications
* NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor (QS) experience
* Authorised Person (Low Voltage)
