This role focuses on three main areas: identifying business needs within the operations department, leading process reviews and defining change requirements, and supporting the delivery of business initiatives in IT systems. The role supports overall end-to-end supply chain and global logistics processes.
The business analyst will work on multiple projects across various business areas, collaborating with key stakeholders and partners to ensure successful solution delivery that remains fit for purpose.
You'll be:
* Stakeholder Engagement
* Engaging in cross-functional team collaboration.
* Working with departmental stakeholders to define and manage change.
* Collaborating with SLT and LT in Operations (dotted line responsibility), and cross-functional BA & project SMEs on departmental and business priorities.
Departmental Process Ownership
* Understanding business and key system processes in-depth.
* Identifying improvement opportunities and documenting simple flows.
* Participating in the global change collaboration group.
Project Representation for Operations Department
* Contributing to project workshops and translating project needs into clear requirements to inform scope.
* Serving as the single point of contact for project delivery.
* Enabling BAU delivery without compromising quality.
* Engaging in cross-functional collaboration to support supply chain processes.
SME Training and Engagement
* Translating systems and process improvements to SMEs and operational teams.
* Making inductions of new starters more efficient and sharing feedback with cross-functional teams.
You'll have;
* A sound understanding of commercial operations, processes, and data points.
* Experience in Logistics, Operations, and end-to-end supply chain projects.
* Ideally, a qualification in Business Analysis or Requirements Engineering.
* Experience defining requirements in a Tier II+ ERP solution (D365 F&O preferred) in a busy consumer and brand-focused environment.
* Excellent organization skills, flexibility, and communication skills.
* Awareness and adoption of Agile development methods is advantageous.
* Ability to map business processes into flow diagrams.
* Proficiency in manipulating data in Excel with intermediate formula skills.
* Practical experience with PowerBI and SQL query building is desirable.
* A logical approach, using data and evidence to support findings.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills.
