Multi Skilled Maintenance TechnicianWakefield41.08 hours per week, working a rotating shift pattern:Week 1 - Day shift 5:45am - 2pmWeek 2 - Night shift 9:45pm - 6am, and Sundays 6:30am to 1:30pmWeek 3 - Back shift 1:45pm to 10pmWe are seeking an experienced and qualified Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Wakefield Depot. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of maintaining and enhancing our mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Your responsibilities will encompass Planned Preventative Maintenance, swift resolution of system breakdowns, defect repairs, and the overall upkeep and optimization of our depot facilities and automation systems.Job ResponsibilitiesMaintenance of volume picking machinery through scheduled maintenance.Engage and manage external contractors.Immediate response to any breakdowns with the production equipment in accordance with the production hours.Assisting and manage the delivery of Supply Chain technical projects.In this role you will be required to stand and walk for most of your shift, as well as needing to be able to lift (up to 15kg), bend, twist, kneel, and crouch.Key skills, knowledge, and experienceMinimum recognised Level 3 electrical and mechanical qualification.Experience working within a maintenance department.Experience working with automated conveyor systems.Experience fault finding within a an electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.Desirable qualifications: IOSH or NEBOSH.Desirable knowledge: Management of a technical teamOur benefits22 days (pro rata) paid annual leave plus bank holidays, rising with length of serviceMedicash- a health cash program to assist with day-to-day healthcare costs, such as eyecare or prescriptionsiTrent Financial Wellbeing - a financial wellbeing application which allows for flexible control of your financesAccess to High Street discountsEmployee Assistance ProgrammeContributory Pension SchemeAccredited Training Programmes available (Education paid for by the company via the Apprenticeship Scheme)We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if sufficient applications are receivedTPBN1_UKTJ
