About Our Client

The Accounts Administrator will play a key role in supporting operations within the finance team. This role is based in Guildford and offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in Accounting & Finance.

Job Description

3. Be first point of contact for general finance queries incoming to the finance team.
4. Support in Accounts Payable, employee expenses, and credit card transactions.
5. Support credit control activities and respond to supplier/customer queries.
6. Maintain accurate financial records in Xero.
7. Assist with bank reconciliations, month-end processes, and financial reporting.
8. Help improve and streamline finance processes as the company grows.
9. Provide ad hoc administrative support to the finance team as required.

The Successful Applicant

10. Experience in a finance or accounts administration role beneficial
11. May be studying towards an accountancy qualification (AAT)
12. Familiarity with accounting software
13. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
14. Excellent numeracy and good written communication skills essential
15. Confident communicator face-to-face and with good telephone skills, who enjoys working with different teams.
16. Friendly with a "can-do" attitude
17. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment.
18. Eager to learn and develop your finance skills within a dynamic business.
