The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers, SEND staff, and other support colleagues to provide tailored assistance that promotes pupil engagement, progress, and well-being. Key Responsibilities: Provide targeted one-to-one or small-group support for pupils with additional needs, including SEND and/or EAL. Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and supporting behaviour management. Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning atmosphere for all pupils. Support with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and visual displays. Encourage pupil confidence, independence, and emotional well-being. Contribute to observations, assessments, and feedback where appropriate. Requirements: Experience supporting children with additional needs, ideally in a primary school setting. A passion for helping pupils achieve their full potential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
