Employment Senior Associate Solicitor North of England | Hybrid (2 days on-site) | Senior Associate level The Opportunity A well-established, purpose-led independent law firm is looking for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its specialist Recruitment & Workforce Solutions practice — a niche team embedded within a broader Employment, Pensions & Immigration offering. This is a genuine market differentiator. There are relatively few lawyers in England and Wales who specialise at the intersection of employment and recruitment law, and this role offers the platform, the colleagues and the client base to build — or deepen — exactly that expertise. What You'll Be Doing You'll advise employers and recruiters of all sizes on the full spectrum of employment and recruitment-sector matters, including: Complex employment status issues and IR35 Legal and regulatory challenges arising from temporary workers, contractors and labour supply chains Day-to-day employment advisory work: disciplinary, grievance, redundancy and restructuring Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, settlement agreements and HR policies Employment Tribunal litigation and dispute resolution (ACAS, mediation, negotiation) Regulatory investigations on behalf of clients Cross-disciplinary collaboration with litigation, corporate and commercial teams About You You're ideally at Senior Associate level, though strong candidates slightly below that mark will be considered where the foundations are right.
