Your new company
You will be joining a social housing provider based in their Manchester office who are looking for a Housing Stock Transfer Coordinator to join the team for a 12-month contract. You will support the Asset Rationalisation Manager in the transfer of tenanted social housing stock.
Your new role
Working closely with the asset rationalisation manager and other members of the asset and investment team, you will be responsible for the coordination of all activities in relation to large tenanted stock transfers. You will manage the process of pre-marketing data collation, coordinating and building good working relationships with other parts of the business to support the efficient collection of data. You will be proficient in managing large quantities of electronic documents and work with the governance teams in relation to storage and transfer of documents and data to third parties. You will work with the assets team to identify suitable properties to include in future stock transfers, in line with their portfolio management plan.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be proficient in the use of Excel and teams with an understanding of how to manage the transfer of data and documents. Skills include note-taking, scheduling meetings, maintaining trackers, progress management.
Able to work independently and as a team.
It would be desirable if you had an understanding of legal and financial principles relating to the transfer of tenanted social housing stock.
The role could suit someone who has housing appraisal, or development project coordination or project management experience.
