Pricing Analyst
Were looking for a Pricing Analyst/Specialist to join our clients expanding commercial team and play a key role in ensuring their pricing remains competitive, profitable, and strategically aligned with our clients goals.
Working closely with teams across Data, Development, and Marketing, youll help shape pricing strategies, improve systems, and provide insights that influence business performance
Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Pricing Analyst:
Review and optimise prices daily to stay competitive and profitable.
Analyse competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop and maintain pricing rules and structures to support business goals.
Use data insights to recommend changes that drive sales, margin, and conversion.
Manage the set-up of new products and ensure pricing is accurate from day one.
Monitor product performance and support management in achieving KPIs.
Maintain high standards of accuracy, communication, and teamwork.
Collaborate with internal teams to refine pricing tools, reports, and processes.
Take ownership of improving pricing accuracy and automation.
Support ongoing projects and share insights that influence business decisions.
Essential Skills Needed for the Pricing Analyst:
Strong understanding of pricing strategies, data interpretation, and market trend analysis.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with great attention to detail.
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar pricing, commercial, or data-focused role.
Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with large data sets.
Able to interpret data and turn it into clear, actionable insights.
Commercial awareness and a passion for continuous improvement.
Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable to change.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
